The dust seems to have settled after the recent hokey-pokey release of Skype for Business Subscription Edition, and in its wake we have HotFix 1. Its 18th August release bumps Subscription Edition from 7.0.2046.810 to 7.0.2046.820.
What’s Fixed?
There’s no KB for detail, just this listed in the HF1 description:
Skype for Business Server SE, August 2025 update includes critical security updates for the Skype meetings application. Starting October 15, 2025, the Skype meetings application may experience functionality issues if this hotfix is not installed.
What’s New?
What’s Changed?
Nothing noted. There are no new cmdlets in the SfB PowerShell module.
Known Issues
I quote these verbatim. I don’t know what all the question marks at the end are about. Is this a “<TODO>”?
- After you install the Persistent Chat (pChat) update on Skype for Business Server, the pChat might display the installed version number as “0.0” instead of as the actual version. In this case, close the installer window and re-open it refresh the display to the correct version number.
- After you uninstall this update, the standard MACP user sign-in URL (“https://<your pool FQDN>/macp”) fails. Instead, you have to use the following URL to sign in to MACP:
https://<your pool FQDN>>/macp/???????

Installation
| The article “Unable to upgrade Skype for Business Server 2019 to Skype for Business Server Subscription Edition (SE)” explains the steps required if you’re not already on Subscription Edition. As an initial step, one server in your deployment needs the CU installed in order to update the deployment tools. |

Any idea how to make MACP work?
Successfully upgraded to SE, but as before only classip CP works.
Before MACP was saying “insufficient rights” (after many hours and attempts to make it work, from different people)
Now it just stays on “loading” and a skype icon :(
Any proven&tested howtos to make MACP work?
Thanks
